Interesante programa de fuerza Me parece un buen libro si estás buscando entrenamientos de fuerza. O sea, nada de cardio ni resistencia ni hipertrofia, sino indicaciones para hacer pocas series con mucha carga. Me ha gustado la propuesta, ya que me parece que representa el fitness del futuro: movimientos compuestos (nada de aislamiento muscular como recomendaba Arnold en los 70), con mucha carga, pocas repeticiones y mucho descanso entre series. Para quemar grasa, complementar con HIIT (entrenamientos de intervalos de alta intensidad) y déficit calórico con la alimentación.
Ideal para principiantes, información extremadamente útil Esta es la segunda edición del libro, os recomiendo leer esta por la cantidad de información nueva y revisada que contiene (con respecto a la primera edición). Si bien no es un libro para culturistas profesionales, ni personas con años de experiencia en el gimnasio, sí lo recomiendo para los principiantes que quieren iniciarse en este mundo o personas que quieran sacar el máximo partido de sus sesiones de gimnasio. Te enseña los principios básicos para progresar y cumplir tus objetivos, cómo entrenar y cómo planificar las comidas, qué suplementos valen la pena, motivación, etc. Fue el primer libro que leí sobre el tema y, si bien posteriormente he ampliado mis conocimientos con libros más especializados (libros de nutrición, técnica, etc.), fue una gran base para empezar a entrenar correctamente y adquirir conocimientos verdaderamente útiles. Llevo unos 9 meses usando su programa y los resultados se notan a las pocas semanas, sobretodo si antes no entrenabas correctamente. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.
Very solid, revealing. This is my first book I read on the topic. I started training a few years ago and was looking always for a way to improve. This book helped me boost my work outs and nutrition. I appreciate the honest revelations and efficient explanations. Of course, all backed up by scientific research. In this book you'll find everything to evolve in your training and nutrition. And you will see your body transform rapidly. I highly recommend this book.
