All in all a good everyday recipe book. I received a free copy of this book and I’m leaving a voluntary review, I loved the recipes int this book, I have tried a few of them over the weekend, most of the recipes are fairly simple, tasty and easy to make, my favourite recipes so far are the Red Lentil Dhal with carrot and sweet potato and the cauliflower dhansak will defiantly be a regular in my house. There are some great idea's for tofu marinates which is next on my list to try. The review would of been 5 stars if there where some pictures in the book.
Delicious and varied plant-based cooking. For your health. For our animals. For our planet. Not only does it explain all the positive aspects of, and answers many questions about, a plant-based diet, it contains some amazing recipes to encourage any meat eater to make the transition easily. Incredible that it's free, so many thanks to the author! On a minor note, the author refers to people who still include meat, fish and dairy in their diet on a part-time basis as Vegans, rather than omnivores.
Good vegan recipes I think this book is quite good but some of the ingredients in it I am not sure where I can purchase them from. Also I must admit I prefer recipes with coloured pictures so I can tell what the end product looks like. I understand this would probably make the book more expensive. Otherwise I liked it.
