"Gilberti in his latest brings to life Kusama's self transformation and persistence in the simplest way possible. A lesson we can all take some inspiration from."-Cent. Magazine. A clever, quirky book about one of the world's most beloved contemporary artists - aimed at young readers and written from Kusama's point of view!. Fausto Gilberti is a painter and illustrator based in Brescia, Italy. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, and has been part of more than a hundred solo and group exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad. He wrote this artist biography book to make contemporary art approachable and enjoyable for his two children..
A hit in our household This our second Yayoi book and they utterly enjoy it. I also recommend the one on Yves Klein.
Fantastic inspiration for a young artist. My 5 year old really liked this, and I'm getting it as a gift for a 8 year old to read on their own. Simple illustrations, so we'll supplement that with photos of her actual artwork. But great story of her life that gives a child-appropriate light hand to some of the heavier aspects of her mental health
Love My daughter love this book
